SUNNY WEEKS

SUNNY WAS BORN AND RAISED IN MANOA, HAWAII.  HER FATHER, ARCHITECT VICTOR WEEKS, WORKED FROM HIS HOME OFFICE DURING HER EARLY CHILDHOOD YEARS WHERE SHE SPENT MUCH OF HER TIME DRAWING.  WHILE IN HIGH SCHOOL, SUNNY CONTINUED TO PRACTICE AND STUDY ART.  SHE LATER ATTENDED THE UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII AT HILO, WHERE SHE EARNED HER BACHELOR'S DEGREE IN LINGUISTICS, WITH HER FOCUS ON THE HAWAIIAN LANGUAGE. IT WASN'T UNTIL 2016 THAT SHE DISCOVERED HER LOVE FOR BLACK AND WHITE DRAWING, WHEN ON A WHIM SHE PURCHASED HER A CALLIGRAPHY PEN FROM AN ART SUPPLY STORE AND DREW "BACKSPLASH."

"I HOPE TO SHARE A MOMENT OF PEACE, SERENITY, AND A BIT WHIMSICAL NATURE WITH MY ART"
